How did you get into the clean energy field?
I first dipped my toe into the field when I worked with my Peace Corps site-mate, an environmental engineer, on creating a solar-powered hydroponics business to teach local Peruvian students about the effects of climate change on agricultural practices. That experience led me to pursue a graduate degree in sustainable business, during which I worked with a utility to implement a new software that would improve the efficiency of its net metering application process.
When do you have the most fun at work?
I have the most fun at work when I'm brainstorming ideas with a colleague and/or client. Quality time with the office dogs is nice, too.
What’s currently on your desk?
Gifts from my co-workers, including plants and dog-shaped paper clips.
